Bq77905evm-707 is used for low-power battery protector IC bq77905 evaluation board. Bq77905 IC supports 3-5s battery configuration and can be stacked, which can easily support a set of 20 tandem batteries. In addition, bq77905 implements a range of manufacturer programmable voltage, current, and temperature protection, and you can find the default configuration (bq7790500) on the EVM itself designed to evaluate the panel's performance. Bq77905 also USES separate over-temperature thresholds and under-temperature thresholds (OTD, UTD, OTC, UTC, respectively) for discharge and charging, thus improving flexibility. The EVM includes a thermistor and a shunt, which facilitates easy simulation of over - and under-temperature conditions. The bq77905 battery pack is protected by a direct and independent CHG/DSG low-side NMOS FET driver, which contains an FET for demonstrating current control.
