Bq24296M is TI Texas instruments' highly integrated switch mode battery charging management and system power path management device, which is used for battery life of single lithium ion and lithium polymer batteries in various smartphone and tablet applications. Its low impedance power supply path optimizes the operating efficiency of the switching mode, reduces the battery charging time and prolongs the battery life in the discharge stage. The I2C serial interface with charging and system setup makes this device a truly flexible solution.

TI Texas instruments supports 3.9v-6.2v USB input power, including a standard USB host port with 6.4v overvoltage protection and a USB charging port. The device supports USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 power specifications, with input current and voltage regulation functions.
